Privacy Policy
This policy explains what personal data the spec-editor website and spec-editor Pro handle. The short version: the website has no accounts and no cookies, the product runs on your machines, and your code and requirements are not sent to us.
1. Who is responsible
Fox Games LLC, 100 Duffy Avenue, Hicksville, NY 11801, USA, operates the website and the product. Contact: info@radianceteam.com.
2. What the website collects
- No accounts and no cookies. You do not sign in, and the website sets no cookies.
- No third-party requests. Fonts and scripts are served from our own server. Loading a page does not contact other companies.
- Server access logs. Like any web server, ours records the IP address, user agent, requested page and time of each request. We keep these logs for a limited time, for security and to find faults. We do not use them to build profiles of visitors.
- Analytics. There are none at launch. If we add analytics later, it will be self-hosted and cookie-less, and we will update this policy first.
3. E-mail you send us
The contact links open your own e-mail client. The website itself sends nothing through them. When you send us a message, we receive your e-mail address and whatever you write. We use it only to answer you. We do not add you to a mailing list because you wrote to us.
Waiting list
The “Request early access” form adds you to the waiting list for spec-editor Pro.
- What we store: your e-mail address, the plan you chose, the note you wrote (if any), whether you offered to be a beta tester, and the time of the request.
- What we do not store: your IP address or a cookie. The waiting list holds no IP address and the form sets no cookies. The server access log described in section 2 records every request to our server, this one included.
- Why: to write to you when purchase opens, to invite you to test an early build if you offered to, and to answer your note. We do not use the list for anything else.
- Where: in a file on our own server. No other company receives it.
- How long: until purchase opens for you or until you ask us to delete it.
- Deletion: write to info@radianceteam.com and we will delete your entry.
4. Purchases
When purchase opens, payment is handled by Gumroad as the reseller and merchant of record. Gumroad collects your payment details, name, e-mail address and billing data, and is an independent controller of that data under its own privacy policy. We do not receive your card details. We receive the information Gumroad gives sellers about a sale, such as your e-mail address, the plan, and the license key issued, so that we can support you and handle refunds.
5. What the product sends and does not send
spec-editor runs on your machines, with your own model subscriptions or API tokens. We do not sell tokens and we do not sit between you and your model provider.
- Your code and requirements are not sent to us.
- Model providers. Prompts go from your machine to the model provider you configured. That relationship is between you and the provider, under its privacy policy.
- License verification. When you activate a Pro license key, and when the plugin checks it afterwards, your machine sends the key to Gumroad to verify it. Gumroad receives the key and the technical data any network request carries, such as your IP address. We do not run a server that receives your key for this purpose.
- Statistics. The product can share anonymous aggregate statistics, but only if you turn that on. It is off by default, and you can turn it off again.
6. How long we keep data
- Server access logs: for a limited time, then deleted.
- E-mail correspondence: as long as needed to answer you and to deal with any follow-up, for example a refund, and as long as the law requires us to keep records of a sale.
- Sale information received from Gumroad: as long as needed to support your subscription and to keep the records the law requires.
7. Your choices
You can ask us to tell you what personal data of yours we hold, to correct it, or to delete it, by writing to info@radianceteam.com. We will answer in a reasonable time. You can keep browsing the website without giving us any personal data beyond what a web request carries. You can leave statistics switched off. You can cancel a subscription through Gumroad.
8. Visitors from the EEA and the UK
If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you have rights under data-protection law, in general terms: to access your data, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict or object to its processing, to receive it in a portable form, and to complain to your local data-protection authority. We process the limited data described above to run and secure the website, to answer you, and to perform a contract with you. We have not appointed a representative in the EEA or the UK. Write to us at the address above to use your rights.
9. Visitors from California
If you live in California, you may have the right to know what personal information we collect, to ask us to delete or correct it, and not to be treated worse for using these rights. We do not sell personal information and we do not share it for cross-context advertising. Write to us at the address above to use your rights.
10. Children
The website and the product are for developers and businesses. They are not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect data from them.
11. Changes to this policy
We may change this policy. We will publish the new version on this page with a new effective date. If a change adds a new kind of data collection, we will update the policy before the collection starts.
